Final call for orders from The Chocolate Express
After eighteen years of happy ownership, we (Dennis and Linda) are selling The Chocolate Express.
This website will continue to operate, with full availability through June 21. So, step up all you fathers, get your orders in, or get those kids busy. Our last day of operation will be Father's Day!
The shop will have a new name with the change in ownership. It will be 'The Little Paris Oven by Danielle'.
She will be baking French Pastries in the shop. She plans to continue to sell Dennis' made-from-scratch fudge at 634 East Main Street in downtown Blue Ridge, GA, and in fact, Dennis will still be making his famous fudge.
Danielle will continue to sell the very popular Birnn truffles that we have always sold at the shop.
Be sure to stop by if you visit Blue Ridge. And be sure to get your orders placed!

THE CHOCOLATE EXPRESS
We had visited the north Georgia mountains in the past and had fallen in love with the beauty of the area. So one day in early September 2008, I hopped in my car and made the trip from Florida looking for a business to buy.

After traversing the northern part of the state from one end to the other, I found my way to historic downtown Blue Ridge. I knew, right away, this was the town. I just had to find a business that would be appealing to me and to my wife. Alas, there it was: The Chocolate Express.

I drove back to Florida to get my wife, Linda, to see the place I was hoping would soon be ours. She was as smitten as I was. We began as new owners on October 16, 2008. The previous owners stayed around for 10 days to train us and that was that.

During these interesting times in 2020, we are expanding our business online, and we look forward to seeing you again soon in Blue Ridge. In the meantime be safe and treat yourself or friends and family with some home-made fudge or specialty chocolates!
